Proeon showcase one of our most recent - Proeon Systems were asked to develop an integrated and complete package of control and communications systems for three separate assets; two nearly identical minimum installation platforms and an FPSO, for twin conductor platforms located in Nigeria, West Africa.

The brief was to develop the Process Control Systems (PCS), safety Instruments Systems (SIS) and the Low Voltage Motor Control Systems (MCC) including software and associated SCADA.

Proeon, has a proven track record of providing non-OEM based Gas Turbine support and control systems retrofits and were a strong fit for providing a complete integration service bringing together legacy turbines with new control systems based on our own bespoke IP, to provide a single procurement interface and deliver a complete solution.

Proeon supported the client through site visits, offshore surveys, and multinational meetings to develop a workable solution in the time frame and budget constraints, and by late 2019 with all the operational considerations for the client, the 18-month project started.

The project scope included the replacement turbine control systems for the three SGT-200 gas turbines complete with a new fuel control train and compressor load control.

NORSOK SCD Design

Proeon Systems is very pleased to have been awarded the contract by a major process equipment manufacturer to generate the Norwegian NORSOK compliant System Control Diagrams (SCDs) for a process package being supplied for use in the North Sea.

The System Control Diagrams define the control logic and application logic to allow the DCS manufacturer (ABB) to generate the software to control the process package.
