Proeon Announces Exciting New Partnership with Det-Tronics

As part of Proeon’s comprehensive offering of safety systems, they have signed an agreement with the Det-Tronics, a leading US based manufacturer of flame detectors, toxic and flammable gas detectors and safety controllers.

The Det-Tronic portfolio has been synonymous with the traditional Oil & Gas industry across the globe, protecting assets from offshore platforms to large, complex chemical plants.

Proeon has seen a growth in sectors where the Det-Tronics product is ideally suited for ease of use, availability and longevity, and their reputation is recognised.

 This recognition between Det-Tronic and Proeon formalises a long-standing supplier vendor relationship and highlights the commitment to product knowledge and training that Proeon has made to support the Det-Tronics line of products.

As an experienced specialist systems integrator supplying control and safety solutions to the global energy sector including the fixed and floating offshore wind sector, the majority of our projects within this arena are for major clients within Europe.  Therefore with the recent announcement of UK government investment we are keen to monitor developments within the UK's floating offshore-wind sector, to enable us to ensure we can be involved in any future offshore-wind projects within the UK. The project for one of our existing clients based in Europe, enabling us to again showcase our expertise in wind park control and safety systems.  

We look forward to working on this new project with our client, delivering another control and safety system for them within the offshore wind sector enabling our client to control and maintain their offshore assets.

Thanks to the success of our Apprenticeship scheme, together with our graduate and work experience programmes, we are pleased to announce that we have WON the Category of “Apprentice Employer of the Year” in the EEEGR (East of England Energy Group) End of Year Awards.. Proeon are very proud of our schemes and we are always keen to nurture the future talent and skills within the East of England energy sector.

It was a great awards evening, held at Dunston Hall, Norwich on Thursday 5 December, which will was attended by one of our current apprentices William Edwards and our Commercial Director, Dr Dorian Hindmarsh. A great experience for William who enjoyed the evening and Dr Dorian Hindmarsh was very proud to collect the Trophy on behalf of the team.
