The control system included the turbine governor and sequence contriols for 2 x Pratt & Whitney FT4 gas turbines together with the anti-surge controls for 2 turbo compressors. Proeon Systems have completed the designed, build & commissioning of a GE Frame 5 gas turbine control system for a power station installed in Denmark.
The project included the retrofit of an existing system replacing the old controls with a new Siemens S7-400 based PLC and WinCC SCADA. The project included detailed design documents, PLC and SCADA software development, control panel manufacture and site commissioning. The system had been designed and proven to comply with the Danish Grid Code technical regulations TF3.2.2 a requirement for all new systems supplying the public electricity grid in Denmark.
